A thousand ways to die...
I'm sitting here at home going through a medium size mountain of receipts. The TV is on providing some background noise when an ad runs for a new show called "A Thousand Ways To Die."

From the Spike TV web site:
1000 Ways to Die combines the science of living and the randomness of death with a dash of Darwinism. What actually happens when a rattlesnake's venom enters the bloodstream? How do Nitrogen bubbles affect the body after long exposure under water then immediately to 2 miles up into the sky? These questions will be answered in glorious CGI effects. Forensic experts, pathologists, toxicologists, herpetologists, and other experts offer eloquent explanations of mortality.
A Thousand Ways To Die

I like COPS, but this is getting a little extreme...

Does this appeal to anyone reading this?

A single death is a tragedy, are million deaths is a statistic.

At first, I was going to defend the program. From the short blurb, it looked more like science; when something really bad happens to us, how does it cause our bodies to fail?

You must admit, it'd be something a lot of people should better understand.

But then , I saw that the title of the first episode was "Lesbocution." So yeah... that's definately a Spike TV sort of show. >_

I'm like Shabm, I was going to say 'Hey, I'd watch this. It's science!' but after visiting the site and seeing the first two released clips, I'm a bit more skeptical. It was way too glamorized and as you mentioned on the phone, a bit exaggerated.

And as Shabm mentioned, the 'Lesbocution' thing was just sort of wrong. What bearing on the incident did the victim's sexually have? She didn't die of 'Electric shock caused by vibrator'. x.x

No, I won't be watching this.

Sounds creepy to me. Some things I do not need to know.
